Why Choose a TSA Compliant Lock?

When travelling to or through the USA, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) may need to inspect your luggage, even when it is locked. With an ordinary lock, security officers may have to cut the lock off if an inspection is required.

A TSA compliant lock allows authorised security personnel to open and relock your luggage using a special access tool, without having to damage the lock.

A useful distinction:
Unlike an ordinary combination lock, the TSA 71 is designed to allow authorised security inspections without the lock having to be cut off.
