The Alpaca was bred a thousand years ago by the Inca’s specifically for their fleece which was so luxurious it was and still is referred to as the “fibre of the gods”
Only the finest micron Baby Alpaca fleece is used in the Lothlorian Pure Alpaca range. Alpaca is a lustrous and silky fibre. It has very few prickly guard hairs so it is smooth when worn next to the skin. Alpaca is a dry fleece and has no lanolin.
This makes it hypoallergenic and is easy to wear next to the skin, especially good for those who can’t wear wool (next to their skin.)
